What we collect
- Nothing, for browsing. This is a static website. We run no analytics, no tracking pixels and no advertising scripts, and we set no tracking cookies.
- What you send us. If you email us or use the contact form, we receive what you write plus your email address. We use it to reply — nothing else. No newsletter, no sharing, no selling.
- Ordinary server logs. Like every web server, ours records basic technical request data (IP address, page, timestamp) for security and error-finding. Logs rotate automatically and are not used for profiling.
Third parties this site touches
- Fonts — self-hosted on our own server since July 2026. Browsing this site sends no font requests to Google or any other third party. (One exception: a decorative easter egg in the footer loads a display font from Google only if you click it.)
- Language detection — on first visit, the site may ask a geolocation service (ipapi.co) for your country code, only to choose English or Dutch. Your choice is then stored in your own browser (localStorage) — not on our servers — and the lookup isn't repeated.
- Email — mail to @avail.systems is delivered via a forwarding service (Forward Email) to our inbox.
Where things run
This site is hosted on a virtual private server in the EU, managed by us — not on a big-tech platform. That is the same principle we build for clients: your data on infrastructure you control.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Since we keep almost nothing, this is usually a very short conversation — mail info@avail.systems and we'll sort it.
